Christmas Fabrics in July

I know what you are thinking, Christmas in July? No we haven't gone completely mad (just yet!). We are so excited about this years Christmas Fabrics we couldn't keep them to ourselves much longer. We have already had so many enquiries from all you organised crafters so why not oblige! Here at Calico Laine, we always have everything you need to create your very own Christmas decorations, gifts and crafts.

Traditional Cotton Christmas Fabrics

We are all for a traditional print, and this years designs do not disappoint. We are completely in love with this Green Tartan P012 and Red Tartan P012. These would make great additions to your Christmas decorations (hello handmade table runners) or even as Eco-friendly fabric wrapping. You can never go wrong with a good tartan! One of my personal favourites is this Green Holly Cotton. This 100% cotton is perfect to create a fabric advent calendar or even as pretty Christmas Napkins.

Metallics are bang on trend this year and, here at Calico Laine, we are all magpies for a bit of sparkle. A firm favourite is definitely our Ivory Glitter Star Fabric, ideal for mixing and matching with a variety of Christmas-themed fabrics. Everyone has different taste when it comes to their decorations, so simple fabrics like this allow you to put your own personal spin on your crafts. A fun non-traditional print is our Navy Snowflake Metallic Foil Fabric, a stunning Winter-themed 100% cotton fabric with a hint of silver glitter. For those who prefer a red and gold combination, our Red Reindeer Fabric is second to none. This true red 100% cotton has a gorgeous gold and silver foiled print. Ideal for any Christmas craft!

Novelty Polycottons

Sometimes you just need a little bit of cheap and cheerful fun in your Christmas fabrics. Our £2.99 per metre polycotton prints are ideal for a variety of craft projects. Why not try whipping up some drawstring gift bags using our Red Gingerbread Man Fabric? Or creating some fun tree decorations using our Grey Snowflakes Fabric? The possibilities are endless, all it takes is a little bit of Christmas sparkle.
