Bias is a very popular Haberdashery item and has been around for many many many years. In recent times making your own bias binding has become even more popular. There are various different ways to create your own bias, but the most popular techniques are the hand held bias tools by Prym and the bias making machine by Simplicity.  Shown below is the Simplicity video explaining how the bias maker works. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNzsZyNyDmQ As you can see from the above video the bias maker is a great way making your own bias tape. The Prym hand held bias makers are also handly tools and offer a much more economical alternative. As with the Simplicity machine, the prym bias makers come in a number of different sizes as well. If you are looking at using regular Bias Binding then we offer a number of different choices and these include:
  • Cotton Bias - This is 100% cotton and comes in 15mm and 25mm widths and is available in over 20 different shades.
  • Polycotton Bias - Available in 16mm and 25mm withs, this bias has a soft smooth feel to it.
  • Satin Bias - 20mm wide and ideal to be used with other satin materials.
