Here at Calico Laine we understand that it is not always the easiest to order fabric from an Online Fabric Shop as a lot of customers need advice and like to see the fabric they are buying in person. This is why we try our best to provide a service that makes the process much easier for you. We have a helpful sales team who is available Monday to Friday 9-5 and on Saturday 9.30-4.30. If you cannot find something you are looking for we can always try to help you or can suggest a fabric for a project that you are unsure about. We are also on hand to help match threads and linings to fabrics you may be buying and if we ever think you have chosen something that doesn't quite match we will get in touch and check with you. If you are not keen on ringing us, we can also be contacted via social media and email and will get back to you as soon as possible. Many customers like to see the fabric they are buying before they actual purchase it and this is especially the case if they are buying in bulk and this can be difficult when you are buying from an Online Fabric Shop. So that people can look at and feel the fabric before purchase we offer a samples service. You can purchase a sample of most of our fabrics for £1.00 each with no postage charge. These are cut individually from the roll and are put onto a samples card which includes all of the details of the fabric including price, width and composition. The size of the samples are approx. 3" x 7" and this gives you a good idea of what a larger piece of the fabric will be like. This is particularly useful if you are trying to match a colour of a fabric that you have already or looking for a colour for a wedding. If you have a piece of fabric that you are trying to match and have a spare piece of it, you are also welcome to send this to our sales team and they will be happy to send some samples back to you or ring you to discuss your needs. If you have a project and are looking to stick to a budget, give us a ring and we can work through some options for you that you can then choose from. We may be able to work out a price for you if you are buying in bulk as well.
