One of the more traditional Bridal Fabrics that can be used for creating wedding garments is Duchess Satin. Here at Calico Laine we also stock a great selection of alternative materials to cater for those who may be considering a more contemporary design. It is now often desirable to have a free flowing dress that is still created from a satin fabric, and today  I would like to share with you a couple of my personal favourites that are ideal for creating the perfect movement within any bridal outfit.... Firstly I would like to look at Super Soft Duchess Satin. This is a Bridal Fabric that is known for it's soft and flowing feel, whilst still retaining a good weight to it. We have this Bridal Fabric available in several beautiful shades including vibrant red and purple, as well as traditional Bridal Shades such as white and ivory! Another range of Bridal Fabrics that is quickly becoming a favourite choice is Liquid Satin. This material is extremely light and is perfect for weddings in the warmer weather. As well as being used on its own as a main Bridal Fabric choice, Liquid Satin is also ideal for layering with other Bridal Fabrics such as Taffeta and Chiffon to create a variety of effects within Bridal Dressmaking. To see the full range of Bridal Fabrics then please do feel free to browse through our website at www.fabric-world.com. I hope that todays blog has inspired you to think of other Bridal Fabrics and how they can be used to create certain types of Bridal garments, and if you have any ideas or experience on how they can be used then please do share all of your thoughts and comments with us in the box below. Also, to ensure you that you are always kept up to date with all the latest  news and special offers, remember to follow us on our Facebook and Twitter pages! Until next time, Calico Laine
