As winter is fast approaching, more and more of our customers are buying our winter fabrics to keep themselves warm in the cold weather. It's a good idea to have your dressmaking projects finished in advance of the chilly months to come, and in today's blog post we'll be talking about some of our winter fabrics that would be great for winter dressmaking projects.
- Double Knit Jersey - This is our heaviest weight jersey available and is wonderful to work with. Available in over 15 different colours, our double knit jersey is currently retailing at £8.99 per metre and is easily one of our most popular fabrics.
- Fleece Fabrics - Available in a multitude of plain colours and fun printed designs, our anti-pill fleece fabrics are perfect for making blankets, vests and gilets, throws and so much more. We have also recently had some double-sided polar fleeces come into stock, which would be fantastic for making items such as reversible jackets.
- Tartans - Our tartans are available in traditional colours and designs such as Royal Stewart, to more unusual colours such as cerise and turquoise. All of our tartans are 150cm/60" wide, and retail between £5.99 and £6.99 per metre.
