Calico Laine and there are many reasons why! Felt is a versatile fabric as it can be used for notice boards, to line display cabinets and drawers, arts and crafts and many more uses. Felt wont fray either so can be easily cut into your desired shapes and sewn or stuck to various different materials! We have recently updated our
Felt Square section on our website so you can easily navigate and choose your ideal colours! Buying Felt Squares is also good if you are working on a budget as you don't have to go ahead and buy a whole meter! You can choose different sizes of felt depending on your intentions, the are available in:
- 9" x 9"
- 12" x 12"
- 18" x 18"
- 24" x 24"
We have some great vibrant colours to choose from, which are ideal for school projects and templates and can be layered up together to create some great designs! You can easily sew felt together and we also sell a fantastic selection of glues to, we stock a specialist 'Felt Glue' which is also great if you are sticking pom poms and glitter to your felt as well! Our Felt is of the highest quality and is made from 30% wool and 70% viscose.
If you are looking for a larger piece, you can buy our felt by the meter which is 180 cm wide! If you need the felt to stick onto a notice board etc, we have a Self Adhesive Felt which has a peel of backing and comes in some lovely colour choices. It is 90 cm wide and can be cut to size before sticking on which is very useful! We also have a 100% acrylic felt which is fantastic value for money too!
