This is a question we often get asked in the cheshire shop by our customers who have seen our site, and whilst we usually think it is self explanitory, it is clear that as we know Haberdashery through working with it day in and day out, that haberdashery is not as clear a term as we thought it was - so I thought id write a blog about what it is. In simple terms, haberdashery products are items that accessorize or finish off your dressmaking and tailored items. These typically include small items such as buttons, needles, threads, diamantes and zips. A haberdasher is the seller of these items. As a Haberdasher, we aim to source all of the haberdashery items you need to finish off every project - We stock some gorgeous diamante's - as seen on many dresses through to the perfect buttons to help your shirts and skirts look amazing. Personal favorites of mine is our large range of zips, we have recently split up the zips into further details, ensuring you can see the colour of the zip before you buy one. These are ideal zips for repair of your dresses, skirts and pants - right the way throught to our larger tent zips and heavy duty jean zips. Whilst these are my personal favorites, you will most likely love our diamantes, buttons etc and you can find all of these in the Haberdashery section of our website.
